New ads from adidas and adidas Originals in UK, Italy and Spain – TechRadar
1 of 5 A few new adidas ads from the UK, and a couple from the Netherlands, will be appearing on UK and Italy’s social media channels, according to tech website TechRadars report.
The UK and the Netherlands are home to some of the world’s most popular adidas retailers and online retailers, and the two countries have been very vocal in their support of the brand in recent months.
The ads, which will appear on a number of UK social media accounts, appear to be targeted at the UK’s young and tech-savvy crowd.
“The UK has a young, tech-focused demographic that are increasingly looking to buy adidas shoes, which are the only ones available to them,” TechRadiers article reads.
“In recent months, these types of campaigns have been targeting youth, which is the biggest segment of our target demographic.
We know the brand has been working hard to build a loyal fan base, and now we’re getting some good results.”
The ads are part of an adidas partnership with TechRadius.
“TechRadius’ ad strategy aims to help advertisers understand where their digital advertising is serving the best results,” TechRadiiers article continues.
“Through this, we are helping brands better understand how they can deliver better targeted advertising, better engagement, and better reach.
These ads are the first of many to be launched on our platform.”
Adidas Origals in the UK has also been active in the US, too.
The brand recently partnered with the US National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to promote the Nike+ platform in the country.
“With Nike+ we are introducing a brand-new way to share your sneakers with Nike fans around the world,” the adidas UK site reads.
Nike+, which was launched earlier this month, allows fans in the U.S. and Canada to purchase adidas sneakers through their online accounts.
“For the first time, fans can share their sneakers on Nike+ and their friends can easily find them on the Nike website and app,” Techradiers article explains.
“These partnerships are just the beginning of what we will be launching in the coming months.”
Admittedly, we’re going to have to wait a while for these ads to appear in our country, but the ads do appear to show a strong affinity for adidas in the United Kingdom.
