‘Mockup’ of the ‘Clothing’ website for the upcoming $100 coin
A mockup of the clothing website for a new $100 coins coin was released this week by a designer who hopes the new coin will attract customers.
John Dolan, who has previously worked on coins for the Bank of Ireland, said the website will feature a “real-life shopping experience” for customers.
The website, which is currently in the final stages of design, will feature customers shopping for clothes on the “clothing” section.
It is hoped the website, based on the same design used by the new $20 bill, will make it easier for customers to shop for clothes.
A spokesperson for Dolan told The Irish Time the website would “focus on providing customers with a real-life experience, so they can make an informed decision”.
It will also feature an array of clothing items and accessories, with a focus on “dressing up your lifestyle and finding the right wardrobe for your personal style”.
The coin, which will be launched on the 50th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising, was announced earlier this month by Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
It was intended to replace the current $20 coin, introduced in 2014.
The coin was initially scheduled to go on sale in mid-February.
